Est/Her Artisan Program

Our goal is to help Establish Her (the beautiful women in our program) to be who God has created her to be. Women in need of financial assistance have the opportunity to come and create jewelry and products which will be sold locally and internationally. The classes begin with a time of devotion, prayer, and encouragement.

We desire to help women with resources for other career choices through other business skill-training and partnering with local businesses for internships and job openings. Est/Her meetings build a community of fellowship and provide women with self-confidence to create a sustainable future.

Our goal is to  build relationships with the women and help them find jobs, stability, and hope. Our leaders share life and experiences with the women, realizing that we all share struggles and a desire for purpose.

Est/Her Jewelry

Women have the opportunity to come twice each week to learn the skill of jewelry making and financial support. The classes have become a family as they lean on one another for support and share life together. The women are currently creating women’s and men’s bracelets. Many of our bracelets contain a job’s tear seed which is found in Punta Gorda, Belize. The seeds are gathered on a farm, flown over to San Pedro, then hand drilled and added to the bracelets. Each seed is unique and beautiful just like each of us and the women we serve.

Est/Her Sewing

Our sewing classes have had a waiting list since we started and have been able to graduate 54 women so far! The sewing program is offered free for women and hosts a 12 week program (see below) and gives each student a sewing kit. Each session begins with a devotion and time of prayer to foster community and support for one another. As a student of the Est/Her program, each student has the opportunity to participate in advanced sewing classes post graduation as well as business classes for finance, starting a business, parenting, and domestic violence.

If you are interested in sponsoring a woman for the program, please let us know. Each sponsor will receive a bag made by the student!
